Field Ground Rules

FieldRule
AllParking lots are to be vacated by 10 PM (except St. Colette which is 9)
All trash in the area, including parking lots, is to be picked up and properly disposed of
Extensions for out of play extend from the dugout fences parallel to foul lines
Any ball that bounces over or goes under a fence is a ground rule double
Trees hanging over foul territory are out of play. Any batted ball that hits the tree is a
dead ball and runners cannot advance.

St. KennethDo not park behind fences
Out of play – left field from end of backstop extending to light pole
Any fair batted ball going past the fence in left field on the ground or in the air is a home run
Any batted ball that rolls under or bounces over the fence shall be a ground rule double
Restrooms in the parish hall are available until 9:30 pm, clean or remove your shoes before entry
St. John NeumanAny fair ball hit in the outfield trees and bushes is a home run. There are no ground rule doubles
Bases are placed by SJN. Their bench is on the third base side
TransfigurationAny fair ball hit in the outfield trees and bushes is a home run
Any fair ball hit in the grass on either side of the woods is a home run
Tailgating at picnic tables
Bell Creek AAny batted ball hit that rolls or bounces into the gazebo is a home run.
Any batted ball by roll or bounce into restrooms or trees is all you can get.
Any fair batted ball going past the fence in left field on the ground or in the air is all you can get.
If a ball hits the backstop or fence at Diamond B in left field but does not go over, it is still in
play and it is all you can get.
Bathrooms are locked at 8 PM by the County
St. Mary COOJAny fair fly ball over the temporary fencing in the air is a home run.
Balls that start in play but roll into parking lot on right field line outside the foul lines are
ground rule doubles (no fielders in the parking lot)
Balls hit over the residential fence may be retrieved if gates are unlocked.

dead ball and runners cannot advance. If on the third strike the batter is out.
St. ColetteNo alcohol nor tailgating in the St Colette parking lot and all cars and people out by 9 PM
Any batted ball that rolls or bounces past the end of the fence is all you can get, unless it rolls
into the ditch, then it is a home run
Any batted ball that is hit over the temporary fence in the air is a home run
Any batted ball hit into the trees to the right of the temporary fencing in fair territory
is a home run
